Good afternoon Blessed Women of God, thanking God for this Wisdom Wednesday afternoon. WHO! can find a Virtuous Woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her. Do we as women in this culture which applies to Christian Godly Women and non Godly, see beauty in the Coach Purse we carry, 3-6 inch Stiletto heel we walk in that hurts most of our feet after being in them 10 Min's, or is it the name brand suite or pants suite that you are wearing. Well, it could be the hair do, nails and the pedicure with the big fake toe. However you see beauty it is all the outer beauty of a woman. Am I putting this down? NO! of course not , I love all the above things myself, including the big toe nail.
This message comes from watching some young ladies in the store, not openly ear dropping nor was I being nosey. They were talking loud and they were speaking on all the things that they were buying, getting there hair and nails done, how they were going to be the bomb.com for this week football game. They had no reverence for the language they were using nor the adult elder women that were around them. They were very belligerent, as I was walking away, I was just thinking woo! If this was my daughters or granddaughters acting like this in the store, I would do this or do that. (lol)..Are we allowing our daughters to believe it's the importance of the outer beauty. Most of the role models we allow our kids to have is Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj. I am not trying to speak bad on these young women, because I know that this is just some of their entertainment images. Nevertheless some of the things they wear is not beautiful, they do not make the best role models for our young women. I am just saying that the focus on them is the outer beauty, and today we want start to Cultivate the inner beauty in our young girls, ladies, and women. We have a generation of you women folks walking in such low self esteem, that's why we have the percentage of our young women being single parents. I am not judging anyone, I was a single parent, had babies out of wedlock and I made some bad choices and judgements in my young life. Now that I am a responsible Mature woman of God and a Sistah's Keeper it's my duty to teach my young women and granddaughters that they are precious jewels that are far above a diamond, they are RUBIES. Precious, is what God calls you. Most women put on jewelry from the outside, but God says I am going to put some priceless jewelry on you that will grow from the inside-the hidden man of the heart. This jewelry makes you more beautiful than any jewelry or clothing you can buy. It's incorruptible jewelry and it looks good to God. Keep your inner beauty intact for his sake and for the cause of Christ. Do not let your adornment be merely outward-arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel-rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. I like how the NIV put it (Don't be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes.) 1Peter3:3. Amen. Read and meditate on the scripture in your bible study time. I love you much in Christ Jesus. Sis. B.
