The global mobile emergency number, 112

COPYRIGHT 2000

SISTAH'S KEEPER ASKED TO SHARE:

You  may have seen this, a reminder is a good thing......pass it along.

Cell Phone 112  number. Some knew about the red  light on cars, but not the 112.
It was about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a frend.
An UNMARKED  police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on.  Lauren's parents have always told her never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc. Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly  called112 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was  an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his  rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there  were police cars where she was and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way. Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes. I never knew about  the 112 Cell Phone Feature, but            especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull  over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect  your right to keep going to a safe place.
*Speaking to a service  representative at  Bell  Mobility confirmed that112 was a direct link to State trooper info. So, now it's your turn to let your friends know about 112.
You may want to Send this to every woman (and man) you know; it may save a life.
This applies to ALL 50 states:

1. snopes.com : Cellphone 112 Emergency  connect you with an emergency call center when  your cell phone has no signal? Claim: Even   when your cell phone signal is blocked,  dialing 112 will connect you with an  emergency call center. Example: [Collected on the  Internet,...  ...your mobile phone has no signal  (so even if you were in a tunnel) if you dial 112 it diverts to a satellite signal and  puts you through to the 999 call...  ..The global mobile emergency number, 112, is "special"  in the sense that (unlike other local emergency numbers, such as 999) it will use any tower

Good afternoon Blessed Women of God, Thanking God for Trusting God Tuesday and giving him all the praise and Glory. This morning message will come from   Sistah Keeper  Kerri-Ann Haye-Donawa her messages have been posted on Streaming Faith Daily Devotionals. Please Read and get enlighted with a word straight from God.  Love you in Christ Jesus, Sis. B.

Kerri-Ann Haye-Donawa is a writer and editor who is passionate about the word of God and how it is translated in our everyday lives. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies, and is a member of Rhema Christian Ministries, Toronto, Canada.

The Cancelled Stoning

By Kerri-Ann Haye-Donawa

Have you ever made a really bad mistake in life? Ever made one of those mistakes where regret rushes to your consciousness with full force and if you could paint yourself invisible and disappear you would? You know, the kind of mistake that comes with brutal repercussions that you wish you didn’t have to face.

Well that was the case of the woman in Jerusalem that day when the villagers caught her in the arms of a man she wasn’t married to. Her emotions were a tangle of panic and confusion. She must have been angry at herself. I can almost hear her thoughts, “How could I not have foreseen this happening? How could I have allowed myself to be seduced by the love of another?” Now she was forced to face the fact that she would never see her family again. As untimely as it was, the day of her death had come and this was not the way she had anticipated it happening; she was about to be stoned to death.

Indeed, this was her harsh reality. A sin such as the one she was caught committing demanded a brutal death as stated in the Mosaic Law. But then mercy entered the scene in the person of Jesus Christ. If we were watching this moment of judgment take place on stage, at this point in the scene the woman’s character would fade into the shadows for a moment and the spotlights would be focused on her accusers and on Jesus. This is because whenever we sin, the first conversation in heaven isn’t between us and God, but between God and our accuser. By the end of the scene however, God’s mercy triumphs and the death sentence cancelled.

This story teaches us two very important things: firstly, without the help of the Holy Spirit, we are all susceptible to grave moral failure. At best, our righteousness is as “filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6), and as such, we have all fallen, some privately and some publicly. Secondly, sin should not be given an option in our lives, but should we be overcome in a moment of weakness and do sin, we have an “advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous” (1 John 2:1).

Today, you may be overwhelmed by guilt, maybe you are battling with the disappointment of your failures, know that God has an ‘open door’ policy, which means that you are welcome before Him. Recognize where you have failed and present that area of weakness before the Lord. Ask Him to strengthen and fortify you in your areas of vulnerability, and know that He will.

His mercy will cancel sin’s death sentence in your life. Where your ministry should have failed, where your relationship should have been destroyed, where sickness should have prevailed, God’s mercy will intercept and bring restoration. Today, trust in Him whose mercy cancels the enemy’s accusations.
Scripture Of The Day: "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." - 1 John 2:1 (NIV)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM AM I MY SISTAH'S KEEPER DAILY DEVOTIONAL BLOG

copyright 2000
Good afternoon to all you Blessed Women, giving God the Praise and Glory this morning for all you Beautiful Women of God.

We all recognize that everyday should be a day of Thanksgiving. Sadly, times have changed, thanksgiving isn't a day in which we acknowledge God as the Source of our blessings. The purpose of Thanksgiving is to solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledge God and His blessings. It's a day of thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father who dwells in the heavens.  Thanksgiving day is a day to pray, asking God to heal our nation, so we  can receive the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquility, and union. So in the midst of your festivities and prayer time, please take the time to pray for our Nation,  President and family, Military and Law enforcement. etc..

I pray that each of you have a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND BE SAFE.  Read and meditate on Psalm 103. Love you much in Christ. Sis. B.

AM I MY SISTAH'S KEEPER DAILY DEVOTIONAL BLOG -

Good afternoon Blessed Women of God, thanking God for Trusting God Tuesday, giving God all the Honor and Praise. I am sharing this message that was forward to me by one of our Sistah's Keeper in Prairie Land, TX.  Thank you, Ms. Jonie Smith.

Cleverly done!!!   Twas the Month before Christmas Twas the month before Christmas
When all through our land, Not a Christian was praying, Nor taking a stand.
Why the PC Police had taken away. The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
The children were told by their schools not to sing about Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.  It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it! CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-Pod
Something was changing, something quite odd! Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa. In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda. As Targets were hanging their trees upside down. At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found. At
K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears, you won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears. Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty are words that were used to intimidate me. Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton ! At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter to eliminate Jesus, in all public matter, And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace the true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded the reason for the season, stopped before it started. So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'Dream Tree' sipping your Starbucks, listen to me. Choose your words carefully, choose what you say Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holiday ! Please, all Christians join together and wish everyone you meet
MERRY CHRISTMAS. Christ is The Reason' for the Christ-mas Season!  If you agree please forward, if not, simply delete.

AM I MY SISTAH'S KEEPER - THANKSGIVING THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2011

copyright 2000
Good morning Blessed Women of God, thanking God for this Thanksgiving Thursday afternoon, giving him all the Glory and Honor.

TODAY IS THE DAY OF NEW BEGINNINGS
EMBRACE IT

In Christ we have a new beginning, as Paul affirmed (2 Corinthians 5:17)
17. Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. And as Jesus Himself affirmed from heaven (Revelation 21:5). And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true.

This message has a twist on it. God had given you the new beginning, but now it's time to get beyond the beginning. There is much more to the Christian life than salvation (and salvation is grand!). We need to know what God has given us after salvation. You can get save and never embrace your change. In the book of Ephesians 1

Paul is not asking God to give the Ephesians something they do not have. Paul is asking God to open their eyes to what they already have in Christ. I think that is something that still hinders many of us today. Many don't know what they have because so many churchgoers today are Bible illiterate. (Hosea 4:6) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. And many who know the Bible have left their first love in that they have stopped with an book knowledge and have not developed a personal relationship with God based on faith in His Word (i.e., acting on—living out—the Scripture they know).  Let's be different! Let's pray that God would reveal Himself to us, personally, through the Scripture and when he does, Let's give him all the Thanksgiving, Praise, and Honor in Jesus Name. Strive to grow! Amen. Read and meditate today on the Book of Ephesians 1, 1Corinthians 5:17, and Revelation's 21:5. I love you much in Christ Jesus. Sis. B.
Father, we thank You for Your promise and gift of making all things new for us who believe. Help us to fully understand that each and every one of us has a new beginning in Your Son and we truly embrace it. Thank you for showing us that, we are not asking for what we do not have, but thanking you for what we already have to sustain us through the blood of your son. Thank you that we, the faithful, may come into Your presence, and worship and adore You forever and ever. Amen. We love and appreciate you Lord.  We say Thank you...

Good morning Blessed Women of God, thanking God for this Wisdom Wednesday afternoon giving him all the honor and glory.

PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT

If you haven't done so already, start taking steps to realize you are call to leadership. This may or may not mean that you are becoming a minister or climbing the corporate ladder in the traditional sense, but you are trying to make yourself available to the Lord to use your talents and gifts in any way he desires so that you can be a blessing to others. Jesus did not draw people around him just so they could help him fulfill his personal goals! He did not command us to make personal assistants, he commanded us to make disciples. Yes! everyone needs a helper, but we as leaders need to make sure we are still disciplining our help and showing a excellent of leadership to them. So when the time comes for them to move forward they are  released knowing that they will and can do greater works than you and that you did your best to make them what they are called to be. John 14:12-14 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

AM I MY SISTAH'S KEEPER DAILY DEVOTIONAL BLOG - MERCIFUL MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2011

copyright 2000

Good morning Blessed Women of God this merciful Monday. I am prayerful everyone had a great! weekend. I am believing and prayerful to God by Faith that this week will be a very successful and prosperous week for you.  Sistah's Keeper is still taking this month to give Thanksgiving Honor to some of the women that have been very influential with helping developing Sistah's Keeper.  We would like to Thank God and Honor Sis. Nahwasa Holman  thank you for your creative designing gifts that you have extended to Sistah's Keeper on the creativity of our LOGO. We appreciate and love you. In Jesus Name.

Use your gifts and abilities to make others great this week.  It doesn't matter if you get the credit, do it all unto the Lord. God will reward you. You are  women formed by God to be a helper to man. This is the season for your significance, you have been hand-picked by God. You are special. There's nobody like you and can do what you have been called to do. Don't be discourage today by your situations and circumstances, you are women in the purpose of God, and he will keep working on your strengths.  Sow the seed of Mercy so that God can reward you with Mercy. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."Matthew 6:7 (KJV) Sometimes we forget what God is doing inside of us and we become focused on what we are going through rather than how we are going through it. We forget that the thing that God is doing in us is more important than what someone else is doing to us. Remember it's not meeting the people's need that makes you so great. It's staying in the Christ like character as you meet their needs. As you deal with relationships from a position of humility, you are becoming like Christ. Read and meditate on Jude 22-23, Prov. 11:13, Prov.3:4.  I love you in Christ Jesus. Sis. B.

Good afternoon Blessed Women of God, thanking God for this Thanksgiving Thursday, Giving him all the Glory.

Father in Jesus's name, I praise you that at your word the darkness in others lives is being scattered through me. Strongholds are being broken. Thank you that you have allowed me to come to the place where I am today. Thank you that you are a CHAMPION inside of me. I have a heroes anointing. I call for the presence of God to come into my relationships. May my mind be quickened, my senses quickened, my judgement in every way turned toward spiritual things. Let my words carry credibility and weight. May I carry a new boldness. May VISION come to me specifically for my house, my children, my ministry, and the marketplace. Help me to walk with new confidence in such humility, brokenness, and contriteness that I amaze people because I am so full of wisdom and so broken. Keep me willing to go to the unreasonable people. May my words never become a dripping faucet, but cause my words to carry inspiration to others. I will run to trouble because I have answers by the power and presence of God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Good afternoon Blessed Women of God, thanking God for this Wisdom Wednesday afternoon.  WHO! can find a Virtuous Woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her. Do we as women in this culture which applies to Christian Godly Women and non Godly, see beauty in the Coach Purse we carry, 3-6 inch Stiletto heel we walk in that hurts most of our feet after being in them 10 Min's, or is it the name brand suite or pants suite that you are wearing. Well, it could be the hair do, nails and the pedicure with the big fake toe. However you see beauty it is all the outer beauty of a woman. Am I putting this down? NO! of course not , I love all the above things myself, including the big toe nail.

Good afternoon Blessed Women of God, thanking God for this Trusting God Tuesday. Sistah's Keeper is celebrating 30 days of Thanksgiving and giving God the Glory for those who have impacted us greatly! to help us get to the next level in our Ministry. This is such a wonderful experience to see how God is opening so many doors and the impact he is leaving on our Sistah's. I am grateful and do not take it lightly nor do I despise my small beginnings. For I know the plans he has for me. I want to Thank God for all you Women In The Purpose Of God. A woman who can see herself as she is, beyond all her circumstances and the babble of the day, is someone who can make anyone great! even if they are not at the level where they should be. She never gives up on people, even if she is the only one left who believes in them. The biggest encouragements we can have is that Jesus has confidence in us. He believes in you! He will not STOP helping you get to the purpose you have been called and destined to. There is no doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you will keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day of Christ Jesus appearing.  In your bible study time this week Read and meditate on Philippians 1:6-11. I love you much in Christ Jesus, Sis. B.

Can you believe we are in the month of November already. We have only two more months to the 2011 year ending and 2012 beginning. I can remember we were excited to celebrate 1999, going into the new millennium, and here we are celebrating 2012.
