Good morning to all you Wonderful and Marvelously Bless Women Of God, we are 9 days into the New Years 2013, and we are still re-evaluating some things in your lives and putting them in order for a fresh beginning in 2013.
Today I find myself back in 2Chronicles 20, one of my favorite Old Testament Chapters: I am reading and reviewing the scriptures , which I do at least 2'x's a year. No matter how many times I have read the story on King Jehoshaphat, I find something I did not see before.
Most of us women wear a lot of hats, and we will face some
challenges and find ourselves subject to (attacks) in this life walk as women. Don't fret we have been equipped to handle them and we have been created
to conqueror and have victory over them.
We were created to be help meets, this has been a job requirement that has been assigned to us from the beginning of time, and the beginning of your time in your mama's womb. (Jeremiah 1:5, I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set
you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations). (Psalms 139:13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my
mother's womb).
Some of the needs that we will have to help-meet or assist with , will come in the form of
being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, single parent, grandmother's, caretaker to parents, business owners, or even a young
college student.
Some challenges (attacks) can come in the form of sickness, financials, divorce,
children and family problems, and even death of a love one. Please don't ever think a person may be going through Challenges (attacks), because of the lifestyle they may be living. This can very well be true, we often open doors to the enemy by the way we choose to live, and the choices we choose to make; however we are not limited from attacks because we claim to have it all together, and we are doing something good. You may be praying, worshipping, praising God, and going to Church. The challenges still come.
(In 2Chronicles 20:1 the bibles says that it happen after this. After what? King Jehoshaphat and his kingdom return to seeking
God following his near death when he allied himself with king Ahab of Israel. He got his house in order, he return to God (church) and than went out in the land of Israel getting God's house in order. (2Chronicles 19). In (2Chronicles 20:1-4) Hostile enemies gather against Judah the people of Moab, with people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites.) The scripture says: A great multitude is coming against you.
Let's look at your situation, you get save, and all hell break loose, (house in foreclosure, no job, loss job, family and children problems, finances, sickness, death of a love one) all these issues can come at once. Read Job 1:13-18. The bible called it great multitude to come against King Jehoshaphat, they were coming from the sea, on one side of the mountain, out of cities. There are some things that can come up against us that can either make us or break us. It's our
choice, we either take the position to stand or fall. (2Chronicles 20:3-5)
Don't be afraid or
dismayed, you won't and don't have to fight every battle that comes your way, but
it doesn't mean you back out of the war. You will have enemies that will come up
on every side. Some battles come with enemies , that are in your home, and they can cause
you to be all over the place, even people God did not allow you to put your hands on them, with all the things they have done and said. Back stabbed you on the job, mistreated your children, spoke bad about you, spreading rumors about your family. Misused and abused your friendship, committed adultery, put all your business on facebook. (Here are the people coming against us that you would not let Israel invade 2Chronicles 20:10).
This is why a Wise Woman can never find herself
getting caught up in the moment, succumb (give in) to her emotions, I didn't say
don't use them, it can be a powerful weapon in Spiritual Warfare and Worship (2Chronicles 20:19). In this time of Spiritual Warfare, you must
recognize what enemy you are fighting, and study him. You need to know what you are
fighting against, and what is behind the attack. How do you identify him. It's easy, do the same thing always happen when? _______________ fill in the blank. In other words are you in a
fight against flesh, pride, disobedience or are you in a spiritual battle, because of promotion to the next level of your life.
Now that you have located the enemy and his scams, schemes, tricks and trickery, even if the enemy is you. We must have a made up mind (settle it) that you are going to move forward, you must follow some instructions. (a). You may have to change your routine, and juggle your schedule. (b). It's going to take some getting up early in the morning for prayer, praise, and worship, (c). Trusting and believing God that his word is truth, and this word may come through your Ministers at the church you attend, through reading the word on your own, however the Holy Spirit choose to speak to you. Follow the instructions. (Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established, believe in his Prophets and you shall prosper. And when he had consulted with the people he appointed those who should sing to the lord, and who should praise the beauty of his holiness, as they went out before the army .(2Chronicles 20:20-22)
This is a key to you overcoming, and getting your victory in the midst of your challenges (attacks). Stop talking about the situation and begin to talk to the situation, get in God's presence, and you will see him work on your behalf. He will set ambushes up for your enemies, and they will begin to defeat themselves. (2Chronicles 20:22)
I encourage you not to delay, arise, awake and set your priorities, set your eyes on the blessing that comes through your obedience. 2Chronicles 20:25).
Read and study 2Chronicles 20 in your study times. Have a Wonderful day in the Lord. Love you much in Christ Jesus, Sis. B.
